About the Program
The Samvedna Karma Yoga Seva Program is a 15 or 30-day residential experience where selfless service, yoga, meditation, healing, and community living come together.
Based on the timeless philosophy of Karma Yoga, this program encourages you to perform every task with awareness, sincerity, and without expecting anything in return. Here, even the simplest daily activities become a part of your inner journey.
Instead of seeing volunteering as work, we invite you to experience it as Seva—a way to cultivate mindfulness, gratitude, humility, and compassion. Whether you are preparing a meal, caring for the garden, welcoming guests, or helping maintain the campus, every action becomes an opportunity to grow from within.
Living together at Samvedna Spiritual School also gives you the chance to experience a conscious way of life. Through shared responsibilities, meaningful conversations, yoga, meditation, healing practices, and community living, you naturally begin to develop a deeper connection with yourself and those around you.
Whether you are taking a break from your daily routine, exploring spirituality, travelling through India, or simply looking for a peaceful and meaningful experience, this program offers a supportive environment where you can learn, serve, and grow

You may also take part in gardening, watering plants, supporting organic farming, and caring for the campus to keep it peaceful and welcoming.
If you have professional skills, you are encouraged to contribute in areas such as photography, videography, graphic design, content writing, website support, digital marketing, social media management, event documentation, or assisting with yoga and wellness activities. Depending on the needs of the community, you may also help with guest room preparation, campus organisation, inventory management, maintenance coordination, and event setup.
Daily Routine
Life at Samvedna follows a balanced daily rhythm designed to support mindful and conscious living. Each day begins with morning meditation and yoga, followed by a healthy vegetarian breakfast. Participants then dedicate around three hours to Karma Yoga Seva before enjoying lunch and some personal time for rest or self-reflection. Optional healing sessions may be available during the day, while evenings are spent in meditation, followed by dinner and meaningful community time.
What You'll Experience
Along with Karma Yoga, you will have the opportunity to experience various practices that support personal growth and inner well-being. Depending on the schedule, your stay may include yoga sessions, guided meditation, sound healing, Reiki healing, breathwork, self-healing practices, spiritual discussions, nature walks, community gatherings, fire ceremonies, and selected workshops or retreat activities.
Accommodation & Meals
Participants stay in comfortable shared bunk-bed accommodation with up to four people per room, creating a warm and community-oriented living experience. The program includes three freshly prepared vegetarian meals each day, along with tea, drinking water, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, and a peaceful natural environment that supports rest, learning, and personal transformation.
Mentorship
Throughout your stay, you will receive guidance and support from the Samvedna team and experienced facilitators. Whenever needed, you are welcome to have one-to-one conversations and mentorship sessions that can help you gain clarity, navigate personal challenges, and deepen your understanding of Karma Yoga, mindfulness, and conscious living.
